Still Waters is a Beauty Therapy Salon run by two sisters, Annabelle and Phillippa Fisher. The business was established in November 2002.

Personal History

Having moved to Aylsham when Annabelle was a toddler and Phillippa just a baby, they have lived in Aylsham virtually all of their lives so, will be familiar faces to a lot of clients.

Both Annabelle and Phillippa attended school in Aylsham and whilst Phillippa had two years left to complete school, Annabelle attended Paston College.

At the end of this period, both sisters attended a full time, two year Beauty Therapy course at Great Yarmouth College of Further Education, a college of very high regard within the industry.

Following this course we both became fully qualified Beauty Therapists (with C.I.B.T.A.C) achieving NVQ level 2 and NVQ level 3 in Beauty Therapy which, in themselves are considered substantial awards. However, we were also among a selection of students put forward for the C.I.D.E.S.C.O exam and on its successful completion we were awarded our C.I.D.E.S.C.O Diploma, this international qualification is a prestigious award in the world of beauty therapy.

At the end of the college course we both went our separate ways and worked in different Beauty Salons but it wasn’t long before we were reunited and working together in the same salon. During this time we gained valuable in salon experience.

When the time was right, we decided to begin the planning of Still Waters, after much searching we finally found a premises which we believed to be ideally suited to a beauty salon but it needed a great deal of renovation. During this time we had the opportunity to design our stationery and plan the salon. We also utilized this time to attend additional training courses, lectures and Beauty exhibitions where we could see the new up and coming products and equipment.

We aim to extend our treatment range when possible so if there is a treatment that we do not offer but you would be interested in, ‘let us know’ we may be able to offer it shortly.

We will continue to regularly attend exhibitions, lectures and training courses so we can ensure, we are up to date within the ever evolving beauty industry. We aim to offer you our clients, a growing range of treatments with the latest advances.
