The Building

The salon itself is an old building with an interesting history and lot of character. When we acquired the premises it was a semi-derelict brick shell so we were able to design the salon within the building to meet our requirements allowing for many key features not always easily achieved in standard shops.

We decided to maintain many of the original features such as the beautiful exposed beams which radiate an element of charm. (Thanks Dad!!!!! For doing nearly all the building work yourself and also to the friends and the rest of our family for all of their help and support in the renovation of the salon.)

The Facilities

On the ground floor, you will first enter our reception area. This welcoming room also hosts our vast selection of retail products where you can purchase items from home care products through to jewellery.

We have a kitchenette to enable us to offer hot and cold drinks which you are more than welcome to help yourself to if you wish.

There is a modern bathroom offering a toilet and shower facilities. You may use the shower to freshen up before or after your massage but please inform your therapist when booking your appointment so adequate time can be allocated.

We have three completely private treatment rooms which have been designed with your comfort in mind. In the winter the treatment rooms are warm and bright. In the summer the fans will ensure you do not get too hot during your treatment. We also have the ability to alter the atmosphere within the rooms to enhance relaxation during massage.

Upstairs, we have our relaxation room. Here you can take up a cup of tea after a manicure and wait for your nails to dry, sit in your dressing gown for extra relaxation time after your massage, reapply makeup or tidy hair after their treatment or simply take some quality time to yourself to make the most of your time within the salon before facing the hustle and bustle of the outside world.

When you attend the salon for the first time, please inform your therapist of this when booking an appointment so adequate time can be allocated for the completion of consultations.

We would be extremely grateful for at least 48 hours notice of cancellations.

Under 16 year olds must be accompanied by a parent / guardian for the first appointment of a new treatment so consent forms can be completed.
